My art has never been just one thing. In every aspect of my
works, whatever they are, I am always trying to challenge the pre-conceived
notions of the work. I am always wanting to create, seeing the entire world as
potential art projects. I paint, sculpt, and photograph, among many other types
of art that I do. I love to cross types of art, styles, displays, and objects
to create unique bodies of work that are not just one thing. I love playing
with texture, and 3D elements, using both to take my paintings out of their
conventional realms. My photography captures many different subjects, but in
very unconventional ways. My sculpture, ceramic and non-ceramic, is also unique
because I am never thinking about the traditional works we have seen. Even my
digital art is in its own realm with hand-drawn styles, interesting font
choices, and a good sense of design style. All my art is based upon feelings,
usually my own, and is influenced by the things I surround myself with. This
includes music, books, movies, tv shows, and pop-culture. I love throwing these
elements into my work in subtle ways through titles or imagery.
